Bump on quails head

One of my female quails has gotten a bump on her head, it’s gotten bigger and the color of it is pink and I don’t know what it is. Is there a way I can help her?

It kind of looks like a cyst? Has she been injured? You might try soaking it by running warm water over the back of her head, but I'm not sure how well she'll take that. I had a scalped boy who seemed to enjoy the warm water, but another one who hated it.

I put some warm water on her and I just checked on her bump and it seems a bit whiter but the bump looks like it spread a little and got bigger, should I keep putting warm water on her bump?

When you washed it, did you see any wound? @Kiki do you have any other advice for a possible cyst or what else it might be?

Have you sat and watched her for long time to see if someone is pecking her right there?
Is she flying up and hitting her head on something?

How many quail do you have in the cage this one is in?
Can you post a clear photo of the cage?

None of them have pecked her, and no she’s not flying or hitting her head. We only have one other female in there with her and we have two cages. We have one for outside but we bring them in when it gets dark since we’ve had experience of other animals eating them. Right now she’s inside this container that has bedding that we change/ clean every 2-3 days.
