Bump up

How do you "give someone a bump up?"

When you post to somebodys thread, it automaticly (sp? I cant think today. lol) bumps their post to be the first post on that page.

But, bumping is against the rules, as it is considered spam. If everybody were to keep bumping their posts, then the website would become a mess.

It can also be a fine line though. A bump every few hours or even minutes in some cases is straight out spam in a normal thread. A full day later and you can get away with it if there are no replies to a question asked. In emergencies, a few hours should go by min, and if it is a desperate emergency, one should try their best to contact a vet rather than only waiting and bumping on an Internet forum where most of us can only speak from experience and may not be able to provide as much help as needed as the animal can often not be fully seen even though pics.
