Bumps on bottom of ducklings' feet - Graphic pic

I have recently acquired some ducklings about 2-3 weeks of age. One of the little guys passed away last night. That was when I found the bumps on the bottom of the feet. When I checked the others, they all have similar issues with their feet. Any idea what it is and how to treat it? I have been working with ducks for quite a while and never encountered this before.

Amiga over on the duck thread may know more about this than I do. My thoughts are that it is bumblefoot or foot pad dermatitis, a staphylococcal infection through breaks in the skin from wet and soiled bedding. I would soak the feet in epsom salts water or in betadine and water. The core of pus may need to be removed. Below are photos of bumblefoot in ducks.
