Bumpy bill

Here is a slightly fuzzy pic of Drei's bill showing a bump that has been there for a few weeks. I apologize for the fuzziness - she was squirming a bit.

Ideas? Treatment suggestions? She seems otherwise quite healthy.

I wonder if she didnt scratch or bump it on something .. looks almost like a scar my pekin had on her billl...

That was my first thought - just a minor injury, poked herself. A few smaller bumps are coming up alongside it now (it has been perhaps three weeks since I first noticed the bump). I started putting triple antibiotic on it. Then I began to wonder if it could be fungal. Thanks for the check-in! Not much has come up for me, looking online. I ordered a poultry disease book recommended by another BYCer, but that will take a while to get here.

She seems otherwise quite healthy.

I had one that hatched with a bump on its bill. i figured it was like a blister or something? it started going down afetr a few days and you can't really see it anymore. how old is the duck?
