Does anyone house their rabbit with their chickens? I let our "Itty bit" out in the run today with the chickens today(Closely watched)-the chickens were more scared of the rabbit than the other way around. However, I worried once comfortable, the chickens may hurt the rabbit?

When I was a kid, my mom let my rabbit in the pen with the chickens; I don't remember either one bothering the other, but since the rabbit was on the ground instead of a cage, he dug out one day and I never saw him again

I have read that rabbits can get sick from chicken waste.
I personaly couldn't keep my rabbit close with my chickens because they kept pecking her eyes but when I turned the rabbits loose in the quater acre chicken run they left each other alone.

My doe made her nest ans birthed her litter in the birds' nest bow. We've had no problem with the birds bothering the bunnies or vice versa.
