Lol I just canceled his appointment 700 is too much. DH says no way I do have separate cages and a good fencing system to keep them apart so we’ll just do that for now and perhaps we’ll have more babies in the future.Yay !!
My rabbits weren't really close, at least the ones that I received, so they were fine in their separate enclosures.. and I would neuter the rabbits that I'm not breeding if it didn't destroy my wallet. Health care and pet care of any kind is very expensive where I am

They may still fight as adults as rabbits are territorial. I used house mine in pens next to each other. You definitely have to be careful you don't accidentally leave a cage door open. That's how I ended up learning about rabbits having kits. Un-neutered males will shoot urine, so be aware of that. It's why I had to change my one males name to Mr. Peabody.
Well, here is my 2 pee-cents. My daughter insisted we neuter Gus Gus or or we would have all these health issues, pee mark everywhere, etc. For the free rescue rabbit that I only meant to foster and not keep but ended up keeping, we spent $700 (one vet was going to charge over $1000!). Wish I had my $700 back. He still marks occasionally, BUT (and this is a big but) his urine is so easy to clean up. No residual odors or stains on walls like cat or dog urine. Easy to spot since it’s orange. We don’t have other rabbits, so unwanted babies are not an issue.

I had a colleague years ago who had an uncut male rabbit that just showed up at their house (which was one of those pristine, not a speck of dust anywhere type homes). They just gave him a stuffed rabbit that he humped often. A lot actually. The grossest thing in that house was the stuffed rabbit right before a wash
