Alright because I definitely haven't offered Bunny Boy any of those mineral wheel things so I believe I'm all good...When I first started with rabbits (30-some years ago), I tried the salt spools. I hardly ever saw a rabbit licking one. What I did see, was the salt absorbing moisture out of the air and rusting the cage out in record time. I stopped using the spools, and can't say that the rabbits are any worse off for it.![]()
In a few days you'll be fineBunny Boy is still a bunny to me. I'm still in shock he is a She and now we have Bunnies to raise...
Hmmmm? I don't even know how to express my shock or how I feel having Bunnies?...I'm just thrown ..![]()
I definitely don't do supplements with any of my animals. Bunny Boy hates kale and most veggies...In a few days you'll be fine![]()
Also, you could give mama dark greens like Kale every day to boost her mineral intake.
If you so wish, there are also water supplements available for Rabbits.
That's term that the vet I worked for used. He treated rabbits for over 40 years, and raised rabbits on the farm that he grew up on. Just saying.Ummmm, sorry, but no. They are not obligate breeders, they are induced ovulators (so are cats, interestingly).
