Bunnys to fat need some advise!

I feed my meaties 4-6 oz in weight of pellets with a weekly dose of hay. The pregnant and nursing mothers get free feed as do all future freezer camp attendees. I very rarely give them extras. If you are buying a quality food then you should not have to supplement.

A lot of Pet Rabbit sites push the " show mix" I dont ever use it. it isnt needed. nor are all the other treat stuff people feed, carrots, yogurt drops, etc etc.

a pinch of oatmeal is fine once in a while.
as mentioned when feeding the proper diet no other junk is necessary.
please be carefull following advice given for pet, indoor bunnys.
There has been a lot of chatter lately about over weight, poor conditioned and teeth issues with pet rabbits. due in part to the recomended diets.

for breeding silver fox I would take them off the Manna Pro and switch them to the Manna Gro formular, Pro is 17 % protein and the Gro is 18 %
The 18% Gro is a more balanced feed and nothing else is needed to suppliment their feed intake. its best for breeding age does and does with litters.
This is the feed I give my herd I have had wonderfull sucess in the show tables feeding the Gro formular. just my experience.

When I sell my Fox I always include what they are being fed, I explain why, its just one of the best feeds I have found for the Silver Fox. all my show and breeder rabbits are on the Gro formular, From Flemish down to the Netherland Dwarfs.
