Burt’s Corner Time

okay, so: Burt likes to find a corner or something similar, lays down, and starts cooing(?). I’ve seen him do this twice so far and I wasn’t sure if it was just a Burt thing or a rooster/chicken thing in general? He’s the top rooster, so I don’t think it’s him trying to hide. He’s 24 weeks old, if that helps?

He's 'nest finding' and calling to the pullets/hens telling them that this is a good place to start a family. The boy is growing up.

aw, that’s nice to know. though, it’s kind of sad because none of the hens come over to him when he does it haha. they only do when he finds food
