Busted crop

An evil rooster *now six feet under* grabbed hold of my Naked necks front and tore a hole in her skin and crop.
I cought it before they could peck her to death, but her food is coming out...
Will it heal if I keep cleaning it even with a little food popping out every now and then? Or will I have to somehow sew it shut

Or superglue it? I dont know...
Does anyone have any advice for my poor baby???

You need to seal it up. Either stitching or superglue should work. There are some post on here about dealing with crop surgeries in the archives. I would recommend you look through them. I believe the bird is going to have to go on a modified diet until the crop heals.

Ok, I found a post and followed the directions. Keep your fingers crossed that she makes it. I will update if anything else happens with her.
