Yes it is lockdown for 2 weeks. DH came home from the store and noticed 8 eggs in a nest in the flower bed in front of where he parks his truck. So we decided to look around the yard and yep we found a second clutch of 16 in the garden. A third spot was found in tall grass that had been wallowed out for third nest that did not have any eggs in it. Don't know if it was in the proccess of being built or if they had laid there and it had been raided but it was definatly a nest. We have noticed our egg count had been dropping but we figured it was just the hens not laying some days. We dont let them out to free range till around 2pm. So it is lock down for at least 2 weeks to get them back to laying in the hen house. [IMG]

See, and I'm worried about missing my first eggs and thought I was safe keeping the in coop/run until 2. Sigh, guess I need to check the shrubs along the property line just to make sure.
