I got a Blue Orpington from a friend last month, he is about 6 months and towers over both my other rooster, He is our replacement, I do have a method to my madness, were looking for dual purpose breeds, We want a heavier chicken but also a good layer and broody.. I have four spaces in the bator now that I am going to fill with chicken eggs in 7 days, I might go ahead and get them from my sister in law....LOL... I just cant help it, I am totally hopeless...
