Butchering a few chickens

If I end up having too many roosters out of my day old chicks, which I understand happens often, can I raise them all together until the excess roosters are big enough to butcher? And where does someone take just a few birds to be butchered? I couldn't do it myself nor do I know how. I live in Alberta, Canada. Any ideas out there?

Cockerels can live in a bachelor pad together until its time for the chop. Sorry, i can't make any suggestions as to where to get them butchered - maybe you could ask on your Canada thread?
