We were butchering our older hens today and 1 of them had these thumb nail sized clear egg looking things, filled with clear fluid in her. The other one had a ton of these very small white mushy balls that were all connected together, in her. It didn't look right but we weren't sure what they were. We thought it may be cancer. Does anyone know what this might be and is it still okay to eat the meat?
Thank you so much.

Pictures by chance?

My rule of thumb is, if it's not in the meat itself, it's okay to eat. I've seen weird things in the entrails, but if the meat itself isn't effected we just cook 'er up. We're still alive!

I didn't take pictures. I guess I should have, sorry. The one with the clear sacks, the sacks were actually breaking open and did get all in the inside of it. The other one though I think the meat is okay (not effected).
