Butchering table

I have this one that I use for deer... it folds in half so it stores and moves easy... and it has adjustable height legs up to counter height to save my back...

Sturdy enough to hold my 1hp grinder... which is pretty heavy

I might end up with something like that. I can always make do with a hose and sprayer or make a table top sink or something.

I am sure I could get a square wide bucket somewhere and cut and flare the top to make a lip. Plastic weld some strips to stiffen the corners and weld a attachment for the faucet. Cut a hole in the table and drop in in when using it.

Is a steel table better than plastic? I've been working off of a wheel barrel with a sheet of wood over the top and my back can't do it lol. So I'm shopping for something else. I like the idea of the adjustable legs, but not sure if I should just go for a metal table.

I like plastic because it makes a nice cutting surface that is not hard on the knife edge...more so for deer than poultry.

I’ve thought about rigging something up with a drain too... but I haven’t decided I needed it at this point.

I’ve done a lot of deer in the garage in the past, the concrete floor, a couple of coolers, a pair of rubber boots, and a long apron that goes past the boots, along with that plastic table is all I use...

I just let everything run to the floor, and then spray it out... the apron makes it nice for staying dry during clean up.

The nice thing about that table is it’s very portable... here it is in use in 2017 when the weather was nice enough to work outside
