Buthering First "Rooster"

I'm not sure if this is where this goes, but I have an intersex bird (displaying more rooster as it has underdeveloped ovaries), that has gotten quite aggressive. I have told everyone that I'm not going to deal with mean birds, and that I was just going to cull them. So here we are for me to put my money where my mouth is I guess...

Anyways, I have never butchered a chicken yet (at least not personally, but I have witnessed it). What are some of yalls tips for a clean easy end and processing of the meat for best results? The chicken is about 6 months old at this moment (a little over).

The broomstick method is one way. Some do the cone method but that is better when processing broilers as it is more efficient. You just want a quick and painless death.
