That is a glass knob that I made in my kiln a while back.

I've been resting all day today. I'm finally going to start on adding the rest of the poultry fencing - using a staple gun where there is wood and duct tape where there is tarp.

At some point I'm going to need to cut the tarp. I'm kind of nervous about messing that up.

This staple gun makes me want to tear my hair out! If I ever need a staple gun again, I'm getting a different one.

Good luck with cutting the tarp! Not sure where you are needing to cut it, but would folding it under work? That’s what I usually try to do with tarps to avoid cutting, but I’m sure you’ll do great even if it does need to be cut!
