Button chick not growing

I know this is a very old thread, but I have a tiny week old button chick who still looks like it's only a day old while the others all have feathers and are growing nicely. The runt is acting normal, but not growing in spite of the vitamins and 30% protein feed it's eating. It's pooping normally, etc though.
I didn’t see this, sorry if it’s late. When I get a runt like that, I’ll often find one or both eyes are stuck closed. I recently had 1 button out of 14 who is about 1/3 the size of its sibs, and barely feathered, and they’re all 2 weeks old. For the first week I had to constantly unstick its eyes, and root around for the tiny grain of powdered feed it would end up having in there. I’ve had this happen often with blind chicks because they just stick their face in the bowl and flail around and don’t learn for a few days to close their eyes while they do this. But it’s rare in sighted birds. However this chick can certainly see, and when I stopped blending the crumbles he stopped getting stuff caught in there. I was concerned he wouldn’t be able to eat since he was so much smaller than the rest and the crumbles were large for him, but he picks out the small pieces and the bigger chicks prefer the big pieces. Now that he stopped getting eye infections, he’s growing and feathering, but has not caught up yet.
