This is a good sign right? I just took all the eggs I got from Tori off the turner, and a good part of them have the small side pointing down. Some of them are just laying on their sides, and some are kind of 'glossy'. I think the glossy ones are bad, but not sure, so they'll stay.
But the small end going down is a good thing I hope??

It's so hard to say when it comes to button eggs

when i first hatch out buttons i thought only 2 eggs would hatch because they were the only 2 that felt like something was in them non of the eggs were moving or anything then on the morning of day 17 i look in the bator and saw 9 chicks lol

button eggs don't wiggle or anything and if they do it's way to hard to notice even there pips are very hard to see you just have to have a good eyes and look really close ( face smash on the bator..lol )

I know you will get chicks from Tori eggs

watch one minute nothing...the next you will hear the cute little whistling from the button chicks and you will see there cute faces and melt

Hard to say, but your to close to hatch time to start throwing eggs out. I'd keep with it and just let them sit in the hatcher which ever direction they rolled to.
Hopefully they wern't effected to badly by the cold during shipping.

I never did focus too much on the way thier eggs were positioned so I can't say for sure myself if that's a good or a bad thing but heres to hoping that a good bunch hatch for you and atleast ONE MALE!

Yes

One male would be a plus, unless I decide to try eating quail eggs in the near future

Kind of scared to eat eggs at all, since I am allergic to chicken eggs!

Well so far I have only one button from some eggs I got from marie_martin, which just so happens to be a girl! I guess since she is in the house, I will have to do something with the eggs anyway, since she is almost 5 weeks old. Maybe I'll get lucky and she won't start laying too soon!

No but I just thought I had read somewhere that the eggs will tilt with the small side down if there is a chick in them. Guess it's just wishful thinking?

I do hope some hatch for you!! When the eggs are tipped up like that, sometimes it means that the egg is dried out inside and has pooled up in the tip. But like my husband said, leave them be for now unless they're oozing or stinking.

You never know, unless you decide to sacrifice one. Can you try candling one? They're due on Tuesday, right?

Stupid question but does that mean you can't eat anything with eggs in it? if so UGH again...eggs are like my staple in my eating habits hehe! DH supposedly is allergic to sea food but atleast that's easy to avoid...eggs....that'd be a challenging one i feel bad for you!
