If you mean 3 ft. tall, that isn't tall enough, should be at least 4 ft. tall as I understand it.I have 12 button quail chicks just over a week old. I am wondering if I can keep them all together as they age and keep them in the same cage? They are going to be indoor birds in a 4ft by 4ft by 3ft enclosure. Will this be enough space for them?
3'ft is tall enough, buttons usually don't 'flush' and bang their heads against the roof of an enclosure. If you mean 3 ft. tall, that isn't tall enough, should be at least 4 ft. tall as I understand it.
Mine do.3'ft is tall enough, buttons usually don't 'flush' and bang their heads against the roof of an enclosure.
It's frustrating that I can't believe what I've heard many, many times in my research.3'ft is tall enough, buttons usually don't 'flush' and bang their heads against the roof of an enclosure.
Mine rarely try to even fly, when they were young they would fly quite a bit, especially when they were a week old until they feathered out but after that they rarely try nor do they flush when something startles them....idk, maybe mine are 'freaks'!It's frustrating that I can't believe what I've heard many, many times in my research.
Mine are still fairly young, 5-7 weeks. Maybe that's why.Mine rarely try to even fly, when they were young they would fly quite a bit, especially when they were a week old until they feathered out but after that they rarely try nor do they flush when something startles them....idk, maybe mine are 'freaks'!![]()
