I think you'll do fine getting them to accept one another -- just keep a close eye and check in with them until they seem to approve of the company. There probably won't be any issues since they know each other anyways. One of my hens bit the roo I put in with her at first. She would crouch and dart out at him, but he kept offering her food so I left him in there. Eventually he began flattening himself down (humbling) and peeping. She finally took the offering and settled down -- and they are well bonded to this day! Good, lol... they make a cute couple.
I have a few mature brothers yet to find mates that live together. They feed each other lettuce and preen, but I watch them closely for any issues. You'll figure your buttons out one way or another. Goofy things.
