Hello! We are new to button quail, and finally got a couple of eggs to hatch on Mother's Day! They are starting to get their feathers and I was wondering if anyone could help identify what type they are?

Hard to tell by the pic, they might be tuxedo's? Can you take more pics and post them....front, side, back, etc.

I will try to get some better pics... they are fast little things and my pics keep turning out rather blurry. I will post as soon as I can get more!

they look like they could be winged pieds? the thing about buttons is that the chicks usually completely change colors by the time they're fully grown. my roo looked like these chicks when he was small and at around 4 ish months old he was a red breasted.

This is good to know! This is our first time with Button Quail, so we are still learning. They are so fun though! I suppose we will learn more as they continue to grow 🙂

At first I thought they were tuxedo's but I was also thinking white wing pied? But now I really don't know?....from these pics I'd have to say WWP(white wing pied).
I have never raised any that quite looked like they do!
