Okay first off I bought a pair of buttons about 3 weeks ago... Lady said they had laid eggs before. Were a mated pair blah blah blah... Female humps the male, male humps the female... No eggs either way...
Secondly, my very bountiful egg producing 10 week old button stopped laying.... I cleaned her cage out almost 3 days ago and somehow stunned her and since then no eggs... Her and her mate, mate at least 6 times a day.... Every time I look he is on top of her... I am just worried somthing is wrong with her... She acts fine... Doesn't seem egg bound, dehydrated or anything...

Also my males, both, do this wierd lay flat and chitter thing when their wife is near. Freaked me out!! Thought they were hurt... What are they doing!?

The non-laying hen will start laying again once she feels comfortable, mine usually skip a few days when I clean their pens. However, if I move them to a new pen when I clean (instead of just pulling their pans out) they don't skip a beat....go figure.

The other 2 sound like 2 males...sorry.

That depends on the color of the bird. Males normally have bibs and/or red vent feathers but there are certain colors/color combinations that don't.

Most people don't know what a button quail's crow sounds like. If you've ever heard the 'wind' or 'darth vader' sound they make, that is the males' crow.
