So how many button quail does everyone have? And how did you get started? (that's what everyone asks me)

I have 3 and got into them through the internet.

I had 8 before I moved two and a half years ago, but I rehomed them. My friend finally lost her last hen earlier this year and she knew that I missed my buttons. She placed an order for 3 dozen eggs and had them sent to me. I hatched out 19, she took 9 home with her a couple weeks ago, leaving me with 10.

I had 10 and got them from a friend as eggs and then hatched them in a incubator. But one escaped outside.

Wow that's interesting usually button quail don't go broody.

I have 15 (4 males and 11 females). Hatched my first ones back in 2014 after I got some eggs from work and I've been completely obsessed with these adorable little birds since then.

What mutations do you have?

I have pretty much all mutations (except blue face, splash and fallow) if you count the ones that are split between two colors like my silver pearl, redbreasted cinnamon etc.
