So now I am thinking I have 3 male Buttons. I got them 2 weeks ago, knowing nothing about buttons. The lady told me that she believed 2 were female and 1 was male. Now they are all doing this loud laughing noise, which I have been told is crowing. It sounds like some older woman laughing hard.
Anyone want to take a guess at if they are female or male? I will only be keeping 2 if I have one female and one male for sure. Help, I need it!
1st button(presumed female, but is very loud):

2nd Button (thought was female):

3rd Button (has reddish feathers on bottom, I thought was male):

They all do the laughing, though the males' is more pronounced than the females'. The 'crowing' that only males do sounds like the wind blowing.

I am so very glad to find out they all do the laughing, I guess I have yet to hear any crowing then. I thought the laughing was crowing. I was worried I would have 3 males on my hands. I am interested to find out if the 1st one is male or female. Just in case, should I be separating number 1 and keeping number 2 and 3 together if they are female and male?

Thank-you. I am really getting attatched to the little guys. I would like more in the new year, if I can figure out how to sex them that is.

The brown one is a wild-type Chinese Blue Breasted

The other two look like cinnamon blue faced, but the more dilute cinnamon. I have a couple of those....the back is more like a cinnamon/lavendar mix. The male will show red on the vent on those and the female will look the same but with out the red vent.
