Buying Chickens Online

I wanna buy about 6 chickens online, but all these websites say I have to buy a minimum of 15! Does anyone know of a website that lets you buy less than 15? I would consider 10 just to get the breed of chicken I want! Thanks, Makayla

They all have a minimum order. Usually 15 for standard size chicks and 20 or 25 for bantams for warmth etc. If you are looking for just a few I would suggest looking around at your local feed stores or going in on an order with someone.

Meyer hatchery last I heard only had minimum order of 3

Thanks for replying! I may just go with 15 if I can. I know my local Tractor Supply is getting chicks, but I want to get these rare Golden Duckwing Phoenix Tail Chickens which TS definitely will not have!

You could also see if there is anyone on here nearby that would be willing to split an order with you. I've done that before. Either that, or just order the extras and sell them off. I have also done that as well and never had an issue getting rid of the extras!

Thanks for responding! I think I'm actually gonna get 15 now, I just never had that many chicks all together but I can handle it. I have the room and wanna breed and sell so what the heck. Lol
