Hello everyone! I live in Washington state and am looking to buy more ducklings. We currently have 7 ducks and would love to get another 7 or so. We ordered all of them from Metzer but the last time we ordered from them, 2 of the 4 unfortunately did not make the journey alive.

I just would like to know about other sites or places preferably close to WA that have good reviews.

We are looking for female Rouens, khakis or Indian runners. (We currently have these breeds)

Thank you!!!

I don’t know of any close to Washington, but Meyer is by far the best hatchery I have purchased from and I have purchased from 4 different hatcheries now. Both their chicks and ducklings have always arrived lively, strong and healthy. When they mature they all have been very good quality for hatchery stock. There is a visible difference in quality even within the same breed from Meyer hatchery orders vs my other hatcheries orders. Today I actually just received another order from Meyer for 2 female Cayugas and 2 female Magpies. All four are doing great, eating, drinking and running around.

Soon to be New duckling owner !Looking for advice as well on places to purchase ducklings, unsure what kind, we live in Florida, and only want 4 or 5 most preferably females, or should you put a male into the ratio? A friend purchased 3-4 pekin ducks and not sure if male or female, but they are very skittish of everyone, we want something that will be a good friendly pet you can get close to and would be nice to have a few varieties that would get along with each other!
