    Hi, All,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this, but where are the best places to order eggs from? I know a lot of people are ordering eggs for incubation and I know there are lots of hatcheries you can order from. Is this where pretty much everyone orders from, or are there other sources to order eggs as well?

I think most BYC people buy from BYC people! The school here buys from McMurray, but those are much more expensive.

    Hi Speckledhen,
Do you mean people post in the Buy-Sell-Trade section?

That is one option or try local farmers or back yard keepers like ourselves. It also depnds on what kind of chickens you are looking for. I am lucky enough to live near a bird farm that has some more exotic breeds and also my mother has a farm with some fancy footed mixes. I now have hens producing many fertile eggs and a few very happy/proud roosters [IMG]

Yes, BST or from breeders or just locals. I myself hope to be able to sell hatching eggs in the not-too-distant future.
  6. The Buy/Sell/Trade Forum is a good place to look .
If you don't see what you are interested in on the board, just ask.
It's a sure bet that someone knows someone who has fertile eggs available .
