Here in Australia, they're much more expensive, it seems.

I've paid cheapest, $7. One of my japs, I paid $30, she was a parent raised bird though.

Everything costs more in Australia though. My high school boyfriend was from New Zealand and he showed me how much more everything costs there.

Depending on the age of the birds, $6 could be a reasonable price. If they're 8 weeks old and about to begin laying that's not too bad. If they're new hatches, not so good.
