Buying Roo?? what should he cost?

what should I pay for a 6 month old
Roo Black cochin with a biege collar green back feathers
and feather ffeet.
beautiful , and just learning to use his voice.
 
Im not sure but most roos adult roos around here sale for around $10, give or take a couple dollars.

Just any old roo is around $5. Good type pure breed should be about $15. SQ roos can be from $20 up to who knows where. Ive seen my dad turn down $1500.oo for a roo before.

I attend our local poultry auction every month, and just a basic no frills roo's go pretty dang cheap. anywhere between $ 1.50-4.00, in Oklahoma everybody is pretty cheap. these roo's sell by the hundreds mainly to just 3 or 4 of the main auction rats that resell them to god knows who.

For some reason I read this title as BURYING a roo what should he cost.....and I'm thinking "who's paying for a casket and funeral for a rooster? I need more sleep....
