buying turkeys

im considering buying some turkeys this spring and i want to know how many pounds of feed would 1 tom and 3 hens eat?

are you getting poults, or adults? if so it depends on what other food sources are available for them. if you are just feeding them straight feed they can eat quite a bit and this will change with the seasons. also i think the breed in relation to size will come into play as well just my .02

i would be buying poults that are bronze or royal palm

the poults dont eat a whole lot to start with but it will increase with age and only having 3 a 50 bag will last a good amount of time. just make sure they are eating and drinking due to them having the tendency not to..
