My dad was talking about how in his age their paper towels were bigger, and for context my dad is gen x, and a really big person so he likes bigger paper towels. Now he was going on about it, and i said
'yeah, back in 1912'
and as expected he freaked out 'im not THAT old!?' 'do you know how long ago that was?' 'there were barely movies then, when i was younger we had tv!' and so on. so to top it off i said:
'Oh okay! Thanks dad, we all love a good history lesson.'
and then he got upset again
