N.A.E
I’ve seen the mom fly out of the nest multiple times, but she is so quick that it is hard to get a good look at her. All I know is that she is very small, and possibly grey or brown or a mixture of the two.OOOOO I don't know. Have you seen the parents feeding them?
Carolina wrens have enclosed nests. They nest a lot in my hanging plants. House wrens nest in nest boxes. I'm not sure about the finches. I have plenty of them in my yard, but have never seen one of their nests. Brown could definitely be a female finch. Gray could be a titmouse. But, I also think they are cavity nestors. I hope you can find out, b/c now I really want to know ... hahaI’ve seen the mom fly out of the nest multiple times, but she is so quick that it is hard to get a good look at her. It was a couple weeks ago so I don’t think I’ll be able to get a good look at her unless she comes back. 99% sure she’s a house finch.Carolina wrens have enclosed nests.
