Been there done that several times. I'm in the country that's why I've never had to lose any of my animals.

It depends. Free range peafowl will do this all day and early morning like 4:00 in the morning. Penned peafowl if you lock them up at night they only do a mating call during mating season (in Idaho March to July) and my peafowl stop calling once it's above about 85 to 90 degrees and tend to stay inside and remain quiet. Morning when I let them out and evening. My rooster crows more often than my peafowl and I have 6 of them. Both male and female will call.

Have you checked the buy-sell-trade forum? Someone on there might have eggs for sale.

Rocking BAB Ranch is in Florida and has a lot of peafowl. Minxfox is also in Florida and is on here. I don't know if they'll sell you eggs but peachicks they will be able to when breeding season comes back around.
