Most people don't realize just how difficult "fine tuning" a popular website can be. When a site grows so fast, as this one has, it presents some very unique challenges in terms of growing hosting resources with the popularity of the site.

As someone in the web hosting business I just want to say how impressed I am with the proactive and responsive attitude that Nifty-Chicken has when it comes to keeping this site going. After yesterdays down time I have been experiencing super fast speeds on my end. Hopefully Nifty's hard work has paid off.

Nifty - Thanks for all you do to keep this site going for the rest of us to enjoy!

Yes Nifty does an excellant job taking care of all aspects of this site...As a chicken/hatching addicted person I give him thumbs up!!...It's even nice to not have to log in and log out now from my end!......LOL

I don't know if it aol or what but I click on byc to open it and all I get is a white page!!! Grrrr...
I don't know maybe it just my computer I have no idea.

Ok so I'm not losing my mind! It happens alot not just once or twice but alot. Then it's so slow and I have DSL.

I've got a moderately high speed DSL and it's been slow......like molasses in winter as they say.

This morning, probably between 11:30 - noon (CST) it got to the redirect page after I posted something and stopped there. Even clicking the link went nowhere quickly. I amused myself on another web site while I waited and eventually it did load the correct page.
