Investigating BYC Being Slow

I have ads turned on and running, and I'm not having any performance problems or slowness, so I don't think it's related to the advertising.

BYC isn't too slow for me but the ads!
The ads keep messing up my screen and causing me to click on things I don't want to click on. There are too many.

I've noticed it also in the past day or two. The forum loads quickly one minute and then it just doesn't want to load. I can navigate other websites just fine. It is just this site. If I wait a few minutes then it starts working again.

I will have to wait for it to happen again and I will try to explain it in as much detail as possible. It has still been happening on and off for the past few days for me. It seems to be fine for a few minutes and then slows down. I was having the most trouble just trying to load alerts and then some delay when posting or liking other posts. I would also have delay while trying to edit a post or go to the next page of a conversation or thread. I have a PFM so ads are not what is causing it for me. I will also try to access the site on my phone and see if there is still delay. I have not been timing the delays.

Exactly as described, except it has been happening at least a week for me. Sometimes everything is fine. But at least half the time, BYC slows dramatically or gets stuck. I just close it out and go do something productive outdoors instead. Maybe it's to my benefit!

Out of frustration I just came here to see if anyone had mentioned this or if I was the only one. It took me almost 6 minutes to get the page to open.
It has gotten worse and worse over the past few days. Yesterday it was on/off. Today has been terrible.

It hasn't been happening as much for me recently.

Oddly it has been alright for me today too. It still takes a few seconds longer to load than usual but it is not unbearably slow today.
