Okay imma shower. Hopefully the kids wake up in a good mood. We have spoiled them to the point that if they don’t wake up to seeing us next to them (or hearing us in the living room) they cry.

Shoot! I missed the weekend warriors thing!!! I had such a busy weekend too, clearing brush and cleaning our chicken coop - 33K steps!!!

So. Sore. Funny thing is I’m not even sore from the walking. More so the planting and hose wrestling. I gotta figure out a better system today.

Tuesday, the nearest weather station said it was 109.5 and it was hard to get 12,142 steps in. Wednesday was cooler (107.2), so I did better with 19,974 steps.

I thought we were hot in Oklahoma, but that’s so hot already! Central Valley? Or Southern CA? Sorry just curious. I used to live in Davis. Hot summers but not usually so crazy hot.

I said I was gonna rest yesterday and didn't do a very good job of it. (After hauling that ~225 lb. 330' fence roll down the row day before) I ended up with >20,000 by accident. Dum, dum, dumb. This morning I hobbled out of bed to the Ibuprofen bottle. My goal is to keep it under 5,000 today. Will be cutting the remaining rolls into 100'+- lengths, I guess. I am too OLD for this .

But I do want the fence up, so...

We put it right over the barbed wire. MUCH better imo. I want to do the whole perimeter!

What animals are you fencing it or are you just fencing in your property?

I am drawing up a blueprint for our brooder. Pretty soon I gotta do up some blueprints for our chicken coop for my Jersey Giants. They are growing fast. They are 5 weeks now, so I need to put them in their coop soon.

I’m charging my Fitbit before doing a 15 min walk around the front yard
