I have been doing the yo-yo for about 5 years, lose some, exercise some- gain some more- I was walking 4 miles every week day last spring- for 6 months and did not lose a pound and did not feel like I looked any better. I will try to down load the app and get started on Tuesday after the holiday. My FitBit is an older model- so we will see if it will work with the newer programs. I want to do Zumba- maybe it will record the steps. It makes me mad, I stayed trim and fit until a few years ago- now I can not seem to stick with anything.The reward is that you feel like a million bucks.Everybody wins who does it. For me... you would be amazed what losing a hundred pounds (embarrassed that I had a hundred to lose) will do for aging joints. It's like getting a whole new body. I still look at myself in the mirror and feel weird sometimes--like, is that me? But it is. And that's been what... four years ago now? Five?
I struggled with this all my life. If I can, anyone can.
