I learned about “can” and “may“ from my 5th grade teacher. I disliked her very much. Here’s how I learned it:

We had to ask— MAY I use to the restroom?

But if we asked
CAN I use the restroom?

she would laugh and say— I don’t know, can you?

May is asking permission
Can is just the ability to do something
Hahahaha we had that same exact situation!!! Even in high school sometimes one of my teachers would joke about that 😂🤣 he was super chill lol

I just competent forgot this lesson apparently 😂🤣🙈

Tomorrow imma start the Bingo challenge with whoever accepted my friend request. I think there’s only 2 people left who haven’t. I’ll be making it for Saturday.

So I have a broody hen who has been broody since Sunday or Monday. Let’s go with Monday.

Last time I moved her she stopped being broody by the next day. Should I move her once she’s been broody for a week or is it always a gamble? I want to put more eggs with her but remove the ones she has now (she only has 2). I just rather her have a large clutch so I can see lots of chicks following her 😍 🥰 memories from visiting my Granny’s house when I was a kid. Always two hens with like 20 chicks each.

Wait to move her, but don’t give her real eggs until she’s settled for several days.

Should I start incubating some in my incubator and then transfer them to her for lockdown? Or let her do the whole thing from day 0?

She has hatched her own before but she disappeared for that 🤣 this time she’s stuck in a coop & run.

You can transfer them to her at any point. I prefer letting broodies do all the work, but sometimes things go wrong in the coop, and having backup is a good thing.
