I think it’s making it a little damp under it too but idk.

Well the weird thing is even when it’s tight I can still move it a bit. But can definitely move it easier when it’s looser haha I have the bigger band that came with it, I only used the smaller one cause it fit, but thinking I might need the bigger one.I didn’t think the smaller one would fit but then it did hahaIt's too tight on you. Go looser or with a bigger band. You should be able to easily move it up and down your wrist a little
even after cleaning the band and everything, it’s still bothering me and smells funky under there
it’s also leaving indentations and redness and rubbing it raw but on the looser one it moves around some. I’m gonna try keeping it on the looser one for now though and also try the bigger band and maybe order a mesh one? I’m sure it’s way too tight but I also think it can’t breathe under the coat cause I never had these problems in the summer even wearing it forever and on the same level! But maybe I gained weight too idk

Commenting on bothI think it’s making it a little damp under it too but idk.
Thanks! All that makes sense! I do actually usually put it in the same spot cause I thought it was supposed to be like a couple inches from the wrist? I think it fits better lower down but I don’t put it there cause it’s practically on top of my wrist and I didn’t think it was supposed to be there? I might be wrong though.Commenting on both
It could be damp and that could cause some issues. Loosen it for proper air flow.
You have mentioned gaining weight. However, I would put it on to where it needs to be on a daily basis, not slot #X because that’s what you’ve always done (not saying thats what you're doing).
I did end up getting a new band. My fabric one had the same smelly issue. Not sure how or why the plastic one would do the same
Leaving indentations and rubbing raw are very clear signs it is much too tight.
It is okay for it to move. Remember, the instructions do actually tell you to have it a little loose. It is supposed to move a little on your wrist for proper airflow, think about the ventilation in your chicken coop![]()
Good luckThanks! All that makes sense! I do actually usually put it in the same spot cause I thought it was supposed to be like a couple inches from the wrist? And I’m not sure if it’s the band itself or the skin underneath? Maybe both? Only smells if I take the band offand mostly just if I wear it a long time like overnight or after a walk or something where I might sweat. I’m worried I’m gonna get some sort of something. I do usually wash my wrist quite a bit though.
Definitely too tight so will try a new band and looser setting. Maybe moving it lower.
And love that analogy.![]()
Oh and I forgot the pics before of where I have it hahaGood luck![]()
