I love winter but I hate that it also invites mice in my house!! Thankfully we always catch them before it get to be crazy. The most we’ve ever had was 3 and we got them all in one day. This year so far it’s only 1. I use the inhumane way of sticky traps (sorry for the peeps that think that’s cruel, but it’s the only thing that works).

On the Fitbit side of things, I’ve only gotten to 7,000 steps and it’s already time for bed. I dunno if I have 30 mins of walking in me to reach 10k tonight.

we had a HORRIBLE mouse infestation a couple years ago! the got into the attic and actually chewed holes in my ceilings!!! mr muddy put enough poison up there to kill every mouse in the US an no problems since!! just the occasional brown recluse that could kill me with one bite

Oh wow! We don’t have an attic thankfully how was the cleanup after the poison did its job?

This one is pretty bold. Haven’t caught it yet but I heard it and saw it but it’s so tiny! I forget they’re the size of newly hatched baby chicks!

I need a cat but the hubby refuses to get one. Maybe one day I’ll finally convince him. It will have to be an indoor cat only.

I ended today with 11,691 steps and 108 active mins

I actually did 1k more steps than intended since I stayed talking on the phone with my mom while walking.

My cat is lazy she used to be a great hunter though but she’s old now and let’s chipmunks and all sorts of stuff walk right past her.

In that case I probably won’t get a cat since I’m not gonna pay big bucks for the cats bred to hunt

they make cats bred to hunt!? Didn’t realize that most cats will hunt if you get the right one, don’t need a special one, just non lazy and I had heard most females hunt better than males but I’ve known some males be amazing hunters so not sure that’s true haha

even after cleaning the band and everything, it’s still bothering me and smells funky under there it’s also leaving indentations and redness and rubbing it raw but on the looser one it moves around some. I’m gonna try keeping it on the looser one for now though and also try the bigger band and maybe order a mesh one? I’m sure it’s way too tight but I also think it can’t breathe under the coat cause I never had these problems in the summer even wearing it forever and on the same level! But maybe I gained weight too idk
