The wife and daughter got their chicks at the feed store and they have almost 10 different breads. Of course the girls didn’t pay attention to what they got, they just picked the ones they like. Luckily the store carries breads that are good layers and mostly docile. I can’t seem to figure out this one though.

So cute! 😊 looks like either an Australorp or a Jersey Giant. I’ve owned both breeds and they’re great birds. If you get a picture of the undersides of its feet we can figure out which it is.
The store has both of those.

It's an Australorp. Very easy breed to figure out.
Actually, as the bottom of the feet cannot be viewed in any of the photos provided, you cannot state that this is in fact absolutely an Australorp as there are other breeds it could be that would be differentiated by the color of the skin on the bottoms of the feet

I can see the feet are pink, doesn't have to be the bottoms to determine.

If it were a Jersey Giant for example, they'd be tinged with a green tone.
