Oh wow! We don’t have an attic thankfully how was the cleanup after the poison did its job?

This one is pretty bold. Haven’t caught it yet but I heard it and saw it but it’s so tiny! I forget they’re the size of newly hatched baby chicks!

I need a cat but the hubby refuses to get one. Maybe one day I’ll finally convince him. It will have to be an indoor cat only.

honestly we haven’t ventured up to the attic since and i still have tape over the 2 holes they chewed through the ceiling until we repair and repaint. we have removed over a dozen dead ones from the fiero though and still have to get all the nests out of the dash and a/c vents in it.

In that case I probably won’t get a cat since I’m not gonna pay big bucks for the cats bred to hunt

i can’t have cats because everyone but me is severely allergic.....we had the neighborhood cat visit our yard and want lovin’ and mr muddy allergies flared up within 24 hours.....2 DS had to have surgery for cat scratch fever when they were 4 and 5. no cats for me since!!

A coworker went to a business lunch with the boss. They took her car. As they were getting out of the car, they saw a small animal run out from under the car.

When they checked under the hood they found a huge pack rat nest on the motor. Obviously she had not been doing regular fluid (oil, radiator) checks on her car.

not necessarily i just yelled at the dealer over the nuts in my airbox not being addressed at the several maintenance visits and he replied with the car didn’t have enough miles on it to be due for that. my car doesn’t get driven that often but goes in for regular maintenance and gets washed several times per year with at least one thorough detail. i had a weird smell once that we thought was some seafood spilled in the trunk but found where a mouse had died in the wheel well area. again, it had not been that long before that i had driven it. but your anecdote could’ve been a case of neglect as many people are only concerned with does a car start when i turn the key and if it makes a noise, turn up the radio

yes no sign of an actual scratch just swelling of axial lymph node that had to be surgically drained/removed. we knew what it was with middle ds but oldest was put through spinal taps, ct scans etc to rule out cancer before they figured it out!!! it was very scary for newbie parents!!!

She had just the one car and drove it daily to work. She never checked under the hood.

middle ds is like that.....we have to check his car routinely and make him take it in for oil changes etc. but oldest keeps close eye on his......he actually checked his oil and cleaned the oil cap yesterday.

My dad is horrible with taking his car to get maintenance. He takes it when like 50 things are wrong and then wonders why his bill is hundreds of dollars (closer to a thousand).

I always did routine maintenance on my vehicles when I was single. Now my husband takes care of all that for free
