Just got off the phone with the vet. Dani came through the surgery well, but is slow coming out of the anesthesia. He may or may not keep her tonight. He will update me later. Mass is being sent out for analysis. On an 'eyeball' analysis there were no evident metastases . Princess is smiling now.

I'm a 'boomer' too! That's great news about Dani, hopefully the lab will agree with the vet's 'eyeball' analysis.

It's bed for me soon. I'm looking forward to lying in bed chatting to Fudge. That's about as romantic as life gets here for me.
Not quite so sure Fudge is looking forward to it as much. She may remember my bed chatting from when she sat and hatched her chicks here.

How long does it take to get the lab report Mr sourland?

Blood work was back in less than 24 hours. My gut says cellular analysis of the tumor will be a bit longer, but so much is automated today that I am not certain.
