Well the rain has not let up too much here. Farmers crops are washed away or not even planted.

Found out that funding for our department is dwindling and I feel I might be let go. Last hired first fired. I might go back to college. Funerary services sounds interesting. I mean it’s a business that won’t go away.
I think more people are opting for cremation due to crazy high prices for funerals. Hubby and I almost went into that field, but they wanted me to work for nothing! Hey, I have a degree too!

Yeah, the cremation statistics are on the rise. Around here there is only one funeral home close and he’s about to shut his doors. He has no kin to pass it to.

That would be quite a career change Dave...maybe you'll be able to keep the job you have, you seem to enjoy it. :fl

I'm not about to let a 6 pound squatty body rooster with a stubborn streak a mile wide beat me! Let's see how the dumbskull is after the dust settles from the construction. Just a few more days...
