BYC Café

(In a nutshell - about 60 choir members met for a 2 1/2-hour rehearsal on March 10 in Mount Vernon, Washington. Nobody there seemed to be sick, but within days, virtually everyone who attended the rehearsal became ill, and though most are recovering, 2 have died).
Yeah, the "Typhoid Marys" are going to take us all out if we don't practice "social distancing" and staying home as much as possible. And it is also why we need to test EVERYONE!

And then you get situations like this, where "exponential" doesn't even begin to describe it:

This will prove to be a major problem in the Southern States unless the various churches are forced to close.
It's been a major problem here in Spain and in Italy but of course the politicians are reluctant to tackle this.

Good morning Cafe. It isn't in fact. It's wet, cold and miserable here again. The weather forecasters keep saying the sun is going to come out and each subsequent day they change their minds.
Coffee is on the stove. The stove is hot because it's been on last night.
Tea bags and water are on the counter.

Maybe people need tv shows to explain social distancing! 85 refrigerated trucks are on their way to NYC to carry off the dead!

I'm sorry to hear about your friend, @Perris . Any challenge to the health of a hundred year old person is scary, even at the best of times.:fl

And maybe they need to stop listening to people like the pastor of the mega-church in Tampa, who held services in spite of the restrictions. I wonder how many of his parishioners will have to die before he gets his head out of a hole and stops the "don't listen to the hype, it's just a virus" nonsense. :smack
