okay my great grandmother liked to make spaetzle. she just used one egg, a little bit of water and enough flour to make it like a pancake batter. when your chicken is done and boiling, just pour the spaetzle batter into the boiling stew, cutting off sections with a butter knife as you pour. i add a little baking powder and salt to my batter. i don't have exact measurements, i generally go by the size of the egg.

I'll submit some recipes in the other categories too, each with eggs or chicken in them.

I'm back- I submitted Chicken Pozole, Black Bean and Chipotle Soup, Thai Coconut Chicken Soup, Molasses Cookies, and Potato Salad. Only one more entry left!

Hey, Miss Prissy, where's your famous Egg Nog recipe?

Oh, and Pollo Pibil is under Breads, and it should be under main dishes. I don't know how that happened.

I got mine added last night & have one from my Mom to add -- old family recipe! will get it up tonight.
Will this cookbook be ready in time to order for Christmas gifts? sure would make a great one!

I will check it out and if no one has anything like my salmon recipe.... I will enter it. I have had people who do not like fish - love my salmon. it is that good.
