Thanks so much to jmajors and her daughter for our gift swap items!
The famous fudge is THAT good!! By attempting more sheer will than I have with ANY egg/chicken purchase this year it survived long enough for this photo. My youngest adores the penguin and it went to show and tell last week. Dont know what he said but it was probably something like, "My mommy spends too much time reading about chickens on the computer but I got this cool penguin from somewhere far away."
My big plan was to wait til everyone was home, open our gift, talk about where ours went, where this one came from and what neat history the town jmajors and her family live in.
What really happened was the mailman brought it, I jumped up and down yelling, "It's my present from my BYC friend"and promptly ripped opened everything. And then put it on top of the fridge so there would still be fudge for everyone else. The little ones were still quite excited.
Although, the 4 year old retold the story at dinner with his States place mat forgetting his dinner plate was on it when he picked it up to relocate Missouri-messy but funny still.
Thanks again ladies and a bright and blessed holiday to all-
