BYC Couples

Oh dear. Do you think you'll cull her soon if she begins to show symptoms?
I agree it's probably salpingitis or one of the other reproductive issues. Those are all too common in RSLs.
I probably will cull her if she show symptoms. Ran had been showing symptoms for a couple of weeks before got the guts to off her, I think -- I'd rather not put this one through that.
The lump has grown slowly over the past year or so, and I can't tell if it's still getting bigger or not.
I'll see how she does. She acts fine aside from her lumbering, barge-like gait due to the extra weight, so I'll just wait and see.
The dummy in question, a.k.a. the Empress, a.k.a. Najika:

I don't think that I'll be getting any more of those. I'll just hatch out mutt babies and buy Wyandottes and EEs and maybe "Southern Ramblers" (actually Mystic Onyxes, I believe -- softest birds I've ever owned) from TSC the next time I purchase chicks.

I love mutt babies. 🥰

Back to rabbit organs.
There was a dead rabbit strewn all over school grounds today. Someone found the "liver" and it was huge. Like potatoe sized. Is that right?
Poor thing.
Not a clue. The days of rabbit slaughter in my household were years and years ago, and haven't read up on them at all since.
