I don't use it because the lens that I like or was using most often is messed up.
I might have bumped it or dropped it or something. I Don't know how to describe what it does but I'm going to try...
When I'm looking through the little hole or at the screen when taking a picture I have something centered but when I take the actual picture it's off or moved over to the side a tiny bit and that drives me bananas so I just don't use it.

And the other lens I just don't like for some reason and I don't even remember why.

Wow, that's really weird. Never heard of a lens acting that way before!

Yeah, you knocked the lenses out of alignment. Sometimes it's fixable, sometimes not. You can also double check and make sure it's properly seated on the camera body. Canon and Nikon both can accidentally be mounted wrong and it'll mess with your shots. Maybe it's that simple, but sounds like it's time for a new lens.
